20/20 Vision in Review

Updated: Jan 10, 2021

I have to say I started this year with the 2020 vision mindset. I truly felt like 2020 was going to be the year of "clarity". However at the end of the first quarter we were all hit with some major roadblocks. Covid came and literally shut everything down. We were hit with a year of discomfort, uncertainty, worry and fear. A year of cancelled plans and staying home. However, if you can be optimistic it was also a year of slowing down and taking deep breaths. I enjoyed the extra time I got to spend with my family at home and noticed others doing the same. It was so nice seeing people out with their families, riding bikes and walking. People seemed to be doing the things that they have been too busy to do before Covid.

2020 opened my eyes and reminded me of the things that are really important. Family, friends, community and sticking to your GOALS!

While living the quarantine life I decided to make the best of it. I had goals in mind that I wanted to accomplish and was so excited to start on them. So instead of sitting on the couch and watching tv and the news 24/7, I got busy. I started working in the yard as well as inside my home, getting things done that I had been putting off for years! I found myself enjoying these things as I could finally finish something I started. Ahhh accomplishment! Next was my Etsy account where I sold my jewelry, I wanted to focus on it. I realized that putting plants from my yard on it was the ticket and wow it took off! I guess with everyone in lockdown, they were all doing the same thing I was doing, spending time outside in their yards enjoying the fresh air and exercise.

Yoga was my go to as I practiced every day and 2020 was the year I was planning to get certified. I was scared it would get cancelled but luckily we started our courses @ New Yoga Now in March and in October I graduated the 200 hour YTT! I went on to get a Chakra certification as well as taking a Feng Shui course during the pandemic and during the election time I completed a 2 week Fascia course. Needless to say I spent much time studying, learning 'creating and growing'... hence the name of my website that has been in my head throughout 2020 as well!

Happy New Year and Thanks for being here!

Namaste,

Rhonda
